The gift of Hospitality

What does the Bible say about hospitality?

I Peter 4:9--use it in love, "without grudging"
Romans 12:10&13--it is a gift for sharing our love with the brethren--let us be active in it!
I Timothy 3:2--bishops must maintain a good will to practice it, Titus 1:7,8 says bishops are to be "lovers of hospitality."
Hospitality is a tool, I believe, in sharing charity (love) among the brethren and otherwise to strengthen the spread of the Gospel. Occationally is can be difficult to practice, even for socialable people.
Meals and food preparation and cost are common concerns--also conversaiton, learning to be considerate, and trying to be relaxed.
But how insignificant can these concerns be compared to quality communication and fellowship with other believers!

This is a site where we all want to impart "grace unto the hearer"(Eph.4:29). Let us not attack each other but admonish with love, if we must rebuke a fellow believer. Also keep in mind I would appreciate no improper language or phrases.
Thank you for sharing your opinions with us.
God bless you,
Miss Hannah
